Digikality Dares you to make a difference!!

For those of you who don't know... April 30th 2005 I was blown away with the news that my symptoms similar to anemia (that I almost blew off) was Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML)! My journey was long but I couldn't have done it without the support of my family, friends and well wishers. It's my turn to give back..

This year the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has made me one of their 2008 Honored Heros. Check out what that means...

I've signed up to do the Light the Night walk in Northhampton Ma. at Look Park on Sunday, September 14, 2008. I ask all who can, to sign up and join DigiKality's Dare team so we can help fight this battle together (the LTN site says "Florence MA" but it's Northampton). For all those who cannot join us at Look Park (I understand it'll be a long haul for many of my friends and co-workers from Yale), I ask that maybe you can sign up for a walk in your area. Maybe none of the walks work with your schedule this year. Feel free to make a donation!! I've also made oodles of earrings to help support the cause. Check them out and maybe you can come up with a few early Christmas presents. Whatever you can do, myself along with gaggles of other survivors thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Some day soon, we'll have the answers we need to kick cancer in the butt!
